Most of Macy's new words are a welcome (and usually fun) addition....the newest one....well......I don't want it!

We (meaning Macy) have a new phrase that we are in love with....

"I don't want it!!!"

We (meaning mommy...and anyone within ear shot) are not so in love with this new phrase.....

Pike Place.....

We spent the best day with Auntie Lana Wanna, Uncle Joe, and Grandma!

After sneaking into the free continental breakfast at their hotel (they had an automatic pancake machine that Joe had bragged about, so we had to check it out for ourselves) we headed to Seattle for some peroshkys and shopping.....

I guess Macy prefers to eat bacon rather than sit on it....

Lunch #1 was at the peroshky-peroshky
(no photos because that would hinder inhaling the amazing food at record speeds)
Lunch #2 was at Lowells...yummy fish tacos and a great view of the sound from the 3rd floor

This photo sums up how Macy did walking thru the market...

The crazy hat store was more her speed...
Not sure why she always puts sunglasses on upside down???

Sophie has a lot of "blond moments" so it is only fitting that is what she chose to try on!

Super star!

Girl gone wild!

The ride home....NICE!

A quick dip in the hotel pool before dinner....Macy wanted to be just like her sisters even though her little piggies could barely reach

Ended the fun day with dinner and a fire show at Iron Chef

Where Macy learned to use chopsticks........
to pick her nose

Kisses to you Auntie Wanna..........

A day at the park......

The weather hasn't been great lately so we have hit the park every sunny day so far this summer
(yep, we went twice)

Pioneer Park and Elements Frozen Yogurt!!

Summer fun!!!

Sticky buns.....

So the girls and I decided to make sticky buns.... the only thing that ended up being sticky is the ENTIRE kitchen!!

They were a little gross...shhhh...don't tell the girls!

Annual retirement trip to see Boy....

At least getting laid off every July seems to have one perk......flying to Virginia for my annual retirement trip.  This year we did alot of fun things...one of them was re-naming Tavish.  On occasion I call him Tavish boy so Macy decided to shorten it to boy.

It was over 100 degrees and humid almost every day so while Auntie was at work we went to the mall to ride the train.....

awww.......

Choo-choo!!

Because it was ridiculously hot and humid we also got to spend a couple days at the water park...

Where 1/3 of the time was spent eating lunch...(it tastes better with sunglasses on)

If this photo had sound it would say "I don't likey the water" over and over.....

Until she discovered the squirters!!

Baby enema?

A day at the pool can be tiring!!
(top 3 three moments of the week.... believe me....two toddlers can be rough)
Please note that the blue tint to Tavish's lips are not becausee he has a horrible mother that froze his booty off at the pool, but actually because he has the COOLEST Auntie in the world who is not ashamed to buy his love with blue suckers!

(and I happen to think that blue was a fabulous, although accidental, accent color for Chandra's white couch)

We also took a drive to Maryland to play at the beach
(there aren't very many photos of them together because, unlike Macy, Boy likey the water!)

Out of all the fancy toys we brought to the beach their favorite was the Starbucks cup.....happy to see there is a reason for my Starbucks addiction!

Traffic in Maryland can be dangerous so Auntie Chandra likes to take every precaution!
(Tavish wanted her to wear this, and we all know he calls the shots around there) but I think she enjoyed it since she wore it a bit longer then necessary!

This picture makes me sad cause there are two sets of piggies missing...

Luckily we were able to spend alot of time with Auntie Wanna!!
25% because she is an amazing cook, 25% because she has working AC, and 50% becasue she is AWESOME!
(Hmmm....maybe the percentage for AC should be a smidgen higher.....106 degrees pus humidity is HOT)

Auntie Wanna (Lana)

Best buds  <3  (totally spontaneous!)

Macy did have to take a couple business calls at Lana's house....

but was still able to squeeze time in to get her groove on...

Watching TV and Aunties is serious business...just ask Chandra and Tavish....I mean Boy...

On our last day we wanted to pack in the fun before leaving so we went to the local market for after breakfast chocolates and treats (um...my first whoopi pie.....hello......YUMMY!!) we also hit Good Stuff and the "airplane park"

This market was way better than our local market (maybe I just have whoopi pie envy)

Good Stuff.....should really be God's stuff....that is how amazing the Obama burger is...HEAVEN!!

The park is at the end of the runway so you really feel like you can almost touch the planes flying over....

Which is why you should hold your head so they don't bonk you!
(if only it wasn't 1,000 degrees we could have stayed more than 30 minutes!)

One hour into the flight home Macy was already saying "airplane all done" over and over.
No photos because that was five (plus) hours of my life that I would like to forget!
I think we were both sad to go BUT excited to get home to see our guys!!!

Okay one last one......

I think we found Auntie Chandra's hair twin!

Dam kids......

Froggy potty.......

We are doing many fun things while visiting cousin Tavish in Virginia!  On our second day it is raining so we are utilizing this time to work on using the potty chair.  There are many ways to use the froggy potty...here are just a few.....

We sit on it and say "cheese"...........

We look through it and say "cheese"........

And sometimes it is alot of work........

Hmm......maybe we should cut back on the cheese........

Politely disobedient...

So...this morning we needed to go grocery shopping.  Any mother of an almost 2 year old knows that this can be a relatively pleasant experience, or one in which you want to pull your hair out and throw yourself off a bridge, it all depends on the 2 year olds mood.  Today was very enjoyable until the end when Macy reminded me who's really in charge.  Things were going well until we hit the check out isle (which was obviously was designed by someone without children, or someone that hates mothers and feels they should be punished....or both) Macy loves to re-arrange the candy and pretend to put on the chap stick...which grosses me out.  After several attempts to re-direct her attention away from the candy and germ stick this is our conversation...

Me: "Macy stop touching the candy!"
Macy: "Ummmm"..(LONG pause as if she is thinking about my request)......"no thank you" (with a sweet smile and a handful of candy)
Me: "Macy, please stop touching the candy!"
Macy: No words just a look as if saying lady I already answered you!
Me: (again) "Macy, you will need to do a time out if you can't be a good listener"
Macy: "Ummmm.......no thank you" (again with the smile and the look as if saying same to you lady)
Cashier:  (giggles) "well, at least she's polite"

I guess I should look at the bright side....at least it wasn't the same experience we had several weeks ago when Macy screamed (and I seriously mean SCREAMED) throughout the entire store and the cashiers were mouthing "I'm sorry" to me as I checked out. They may have been actually saying it but I couldn't hear over the almost two yr old screaming "Help" in my ear.

I think I will take the politely disobedient two year old instead.....

Inauguration party!!

I have been thinking of keeping a journal for practically my whole life, but seeing that I am 33 and I haven't done it yet, I decided why not start a blog instead.  The theme of my blog is crazy...which seems to be theme for my life as well.  Let's be honest here.....I am crazy, my kids are crazy, my life is crazy, and because you are even reading this...YOU are crazy (and now an official resident of crazy town...welcome!)

So here it goes...welcome to the inauguration of my self elected term as official mayor of crazy town!

Hmmm.....something exciting should go here BUT it took me so long to figure this much out that now I am tired and going to bed......some inauguration party....

Mayor of crazy town......

Let's be honest....that's exactly what I am.....self elected!
